Gardeners Dream Blue Buddleia 'Petite Heaven' - 9Cm Pot
Buddleia ‘Blue Heaven’ is a neat and compact deciduous shrub that will decorate your garden with lavender-blue flowers. These flowers grow in masses and carry a gentle sweet fragrance that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Blue Heaven shrub is popularly known as the Butterfly Bush since it is a good source of nectar. This flowering plant starts blooming from early summer and lasts long until mid-autumn. Deadheading the faded flowers will encourage new blooms that will extend the flowering period. Buddleia Blue Heaven produces lavender-blue flowers in cone-shaped clusters on arching branches, that are adorned with silver-green foliage. Such a striking combination of colours and dense foliage makes Buddleia Blue Heaven a perfect flowering plant for container gardening, small gardens or flower borders. These hardy shrubs develop resistance to drought as they mature and need little maintenance. They will thrive in a sheltered sunny spot in a well-drained moist soil. They do prefer chalky or loamy soil but will adapt to any average-dry soil as well. Adding a mulch of organic compost to the base of the roots will ensure moisture retention. Buddleia Blue Heaven is perfect for garden containers. It looks as if fountains of blue flowers are shooting from the pots in garden. This hardy flowering shrub will set a gorgeous scheme to your patio or pool area.
