The Draper 6 Piece 3/8" Drive Glow Plug Socket Set is a specialist socket set designed for the efficient removal and replacement of glow plugs in diesel engines. Engineered for professional mechanics and automotive technicians, this comprehensive set covers the most common glow plug sizes encountered in modern diesel vehicles. The inclusion of a universal joint on each socket allows improved access in confined engine compartments where standard sockets cannot reach. Constructed from high-quality chrome vanadium steel, these sockets deliver the durability and strength required for regular professional use. The material choice ensures resistance to wear and deformation, even under the repetitive stresses of workshop environments. A satin chrome finish provides corrosion protection, extending the working life of each socket whilst maintaining a professional appearance. The set covers six key sizes from 8mm to 16mm, making it suitable for work across a wide range of diesel vehicles including cars, light commercials, and agricultural machinery. Each socket features a 6-point design that maximises grip on glow plug hexagons, reducing the risk of rounding during removal. All six sockets are supplied in a blow moulded plastic storage case that keeps the set organised and protected between jobs.
